“Adroit Builders hit a home run in its execution of extensive renovation and remodel plans for my two-story home in Old Palo Alto. Among the numerous factors contributing to the success of this major project, several are particularly noteworthy: 1. In the pre-bid process, during which general contractors interested in submitting bids were invited to personally tour our house (in addition their reviewing architectural plans & specs), Adroit general contractor Anthony Juarez-Lessing brought to the site not only Adroit team members, but also representatives from each of the subcontractors he’d be utilizing throughout the project. He was the only bidding contractor who did this. 2. Adroit’s work product {and that of its subs) was outstanding, from structural elements (prescribed by our structural engineer) to the new oak flooring, new kitchen, new bathrooms, new staircase, HVAC systems, painting, lighting, and all-new moldings, baseboards, casings and other trim. 3. Adjustments to original plans & specs were all carefully considered and evaluated, with candid input from Anthony and architect Judith Wasserman (weekly Owner/Architect/General Contractor meetings contributed to efficiency, transparency, and cogent decision-making on additions and adjustments to original plans). 4. Prospective buyers and experienced real estate agents who toured the finished product were virtually unanimous in their praise of (among others factors): the high quality of cabinetry, lighting, countertop and new-appliance installation; the high quality of the painting; and not least the high quality and intricate precision of the often-challenging trim installation.”
